BSB50120 - Diploma of Business

The Diploma of Business qualification allows students to enter or advance in the exciting world  of modern business. This qualification will allow students with the abilities and information  needed to perform the duties of front-line managers in a range of business services positions. 

  • Total = 52 weeks.
  • Tuition = 44 weeks.
  • Break = 8 weeks.

Candidates over the age of 18 (including senior citizens) who wants to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions can apply. The target audience for this course is domestic students who wish to  acquire the skills, knowledge, and practices necessary to find employment in the business  industries.

  • Must be of a minimum age of 18+ at the time of course commencement.  
  • Candidates must have successfully completed at least grade 12 or equivalent. Or  completed studies equivalent to an Australian Year 12 qualification from an English  language speaking country  
  • Students may be required to undertake a few assessments of their Pre-Training Review  (PTR) Test & Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test as part of their application  process. Successful completion of LLN test is mandatory while applying for the qualification, before enrolment. 

This qualification has been designed for those with some experience in various contexts who  want to further improve their skills across a wide range of business functions. It is also  appropriate for those with minimal practical experience but strong theoretical business  knowledge and skills who wish to advance these skills in order to open up new career and  educational prospects. 

This qualification will offer a route to employment in the public and private business sectors, as  well as small and large businesses, to lead, supervise, and manage staff and resources in order to  deal with both predictable and erratic conditions. Several potential job titles are:

After completing this course, students might want to pursue further study in BSB60120  Advanced Diploma of Business, BSB60420 – Advanced Diploma of Leadership and  Management, BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) or a range of other  Advanced Diploma qualifications or a range of Advanced Diploma qualifications.

Outcome : 

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be awarded  BSB50120 Diploma of  Business.
